I don’t want to speak too soon, but I think that we are going to be having a wireless network set up in the Computer Science building. And to be quite honest I am getting excited. Mostly because my laptop (which I’m still waiting on) is equipped for Airport Extreme which utilizes 802.11g - a 54 Mbps wireless protocol that is backward compatible with the 11 Mbps 802.11b which is what is being installed in the building. All I have to do is buy the Airport Extreme card. I hadn’t planned on actually buying it, but if I can access a wireless network in the CS building I think that I might. :) Damn… I’m getting impatient about my laptop :/
