Played out

OK… I’ll admit, I have been listening to a lot of trance over the past few weeks. Many different DJs from many different sources. Some are world reknowned - some not so much. That being said, I keep hearing very similar samples in all of this music. I realize that the total trance experience is not just the samples. I’m all about that. But I do know that it is the samples that make a song recognizable.

That’s all I’m saying here. Too much crossover. I know that jungle is a little bit better than this when it comes to original material, but I’ll be damned if I ever get into that. I mean. Trance. Sweet, sweet nectar.

I clearly have nothing at this point. :P
