Igor in Newfoundland
Pembroke, Bermuda
Apparently Igor wasn’t done once it moved past Bermuda. It spent today (21 Sept) devastating the eastern shore of Newfoundland. Thousands without power, roads washed away, one elderly man reportedly swept out to sea. Forecasts expected Igor to be much tamer by the time it hit Newfoundland, but it was apparently still packing hurricane force winds and massive amounts of rain. Bermuda was prepared, Newfoundland clearly is having a much tougher time of it. Best of luck to all of those affected by this storm.
