One step closer

PHP 5 Release Candidate 2 was released today. Apparently PHP 5 has a pretty nice backward compatibility mode for PHP 4. It will let you run all of your old scripts without modification assuming that you haven’t used any of the new reserved words for your identifiers. I can’t wait until I get a chance to start coding in PHP 5, but as it is… other than putting in on my own servers, there aren’t a lot of servers that I know which will adopt it right out of the gate.
