Groundhogs Day

Shubenacadie Sam did not see his shadow this morning which means that we will be having an early spring. I haven’t heard about Punxsutawney Phil and Wiarton Willie - they won’t be giving predictions until 9am our time.

Feb 2 - 10:46 As [bad] luck would have it, both Phil and Willie saw their shadows today. This means that we should have 6 more weeks of winter. And since Sam has like < 50% success rate in the past, I’d not put that parka away just yet. As another note, apparently this has been the coldest January for Nova Scotia in 60 years. Good times.
