Excellent in all the right places

The extended version of The Fellowship of the Ring is simply excellent. Yes it is long, but fortunately it has the new scenes scattered throughout as though they had always been there. This keeps you on your toes, especially the first time you watch it. And the information and pieces of movie that were in the extra scenes are excellent. Some were removed for good reason, others should have made the final cut, but either way, they all fit into place now.

Oh, and after removing the north bridge fan and cleaning it and labourously reattaching it, I still have a noisy fan! Hmmm…
