Back to photo listing This is the famous Salisbury Cathedral — the tallest in the UK. Nenad and Daniel in front of the Cathedral. The stonework was incredible. A closer view. The spire of the cathedral is 123 meters high. This courtyard in the cathedral was used by the clergy for a bit of exercise between services. Needless to say the architecture was amazing. I am really glad I decided to lug my tripod with me. I knew these interiors would require it. In a space this large a flash is useless. This is the alter. Our tour guide didn't talk about these flags, but I thought they looked cool. This is the oldest working clock — although it doesn't tell time directly, it chimed the hour. It was built in the 14th century.
