Back to photo listing Mateen, Sissi, Q and Adnan in front of the parliament waiting for the parade to start. Daniel is decked out in his Greek gear. In the distance, the guards change. And some music plays from some band that we could barely see. Later the parade passes near to the hotel we were staying in. Military vehicles of all sorts raced by at more than I would call parade speeds. Including this character in the HazMat suit. Nice. This is the entrance to the metro station at Omonia Square, near the hotel. Several jet formations cruise overhead at one point just after we finish buying our train tickets. Piraeus is the port area of Athens, this shot shows the number of street vendors ourside the metro station. Apparently Vodafone needs a huge cruise ship. Each of us takes turn supporting the giant protrusions coming from one of the stadiums in the Olympic complex. (Photo credit: Daniel Perez) In an experiment with exposure time, I had the four of us run out of the frame after a couple seconds.
